Punk Till I Die

Tom survives another year of Savage Mountain Punk Fest and tells the unvarnished tale! He and Neil have a nice chat about all the the thrills and spills! All your burning questions are answered! The PTID guys cash in on a contact they made in California, and have a nice chat with the Assassin of Mediocrity himself, Bill Sassenberger. They talk about the humble origins of the California and Arizona store and label, his books, and the amazing amount of cool bands he's worked with over the years. With an eclectic bunch of songs from Peace Corpse, The Dull, Raw Power, Th’ Inbred, Hickoids, and Treepeople. 

The name might not ring a bell, but Jones was there at the very beginning of the Manchester punk scene. In the late '70s and early '80s he played in (pre RAC) Skrewdriver and The Drones, as well as other key bands from that scene. He rubbed elbows with legends and lived to tell the tales. With songs from Buzzcocks, Magazine, The Drones, The Distractions, V2, and Jon the Postman. 

The PTID guys travel to the Land Down Under to talk to Shane from Convict Class. They talk about the early days of the band, and the challenges of touring in and out of Australia. They also discuss the great new album Not The Enemy, along with any other number of things. With killer songs from Convict Class. 

The PTID guys are once again joined El Presidente, Gerry LaFemina, president of Savage Mountain Punk Arts. They chat about the lineup, and how Savage Mountain Punk Fest came together. They also talk about Gerry's band, The Downstrokes, and their new album and recent UK tour. With songs from Titus Andronicus, Thick, Blitzkid, The Effigies, Haley and the Crushers and The Downstrokes.

The PTID guys celebrate another hundred episodes by shining some light on a couple guys who help behind the scenes. Jake and Sticks are Facebook group admins, spiritual advisors, and occasionally voices of reason. They're also both musicians, cancer survivors and all around great guys. They in turn shine a light on some deserving, possibly underrated bands. Tom and Neil celebrate America's 250th birthday the only way they know how, by talking a bunch of trash and spinning bunch of killer punk songs. It's unrepentent colonizer versus ungrateful colonist! The PTID guys, along with Matt Swisher, take some time to wallow in the in the massive success that was the 5th annual Bonus Pints/Punk Till I Die show in beautiful downtown Logansport, Indiana. Teenage Bottlerocket, Sludgeworth and The Strains all killed. Local opener Scared Sacred was great too, and the guys are briefly joined by their frontman Derek. With songs from The Prozacs, Jake Emissions, Scared Sacred, Gerber and the Babies, Sloppy Seconds, The Strains, Sludgeworth, and Teenage Bottlerocket. 

Dan (Vapid), Brian (Vermin) and Adam White join the PTID guys to talk about how the Sludgeworth reunion came about, and the making of the new album Second Time Around. They also get into the early days of the band, as Tom tries to fight the urge to pepper them with Screeching Weasel questions.  And of course they talk up the big Logansport shindig on June 27th with Teenage Bottlerocket, The Strains and Scared Sacred. With new songs from Sludgeworth.

The PTID guys caught up with Ray (Carlisle) Rocket while he was on tour with SACK in Texas. Ray fights through phone problems and the blazing heat to update them on the world of TBR. They get into the band's new label, the writing process, and overcoming geographic issues. There's also talk about the big free Punk Till I Die/Bonus Pints show in Logansport on June 27th! With old and new songs from Teenage Bottlerocket.
