Episode 302: 45 Adapters.

NYC's 45 Adapters have spent the last 15 years making some great punk rock. Founder and lead singer Gerrard Lindsay (Pickabar) speaks to the PTID guys about a bunch of topics, including skinhead culture, fashion, and of course music. Most importantly, they discuss how the band went from being ready to throw in the towel. to making the best record of their career. With songs from 45 Adapters.

Episode 301: Heat is Murder.

Neil braves Las Vegas in July to see Morrissey. Other than melting and taking in the show at the House of Blues, he also manages to tour the Punk Rock Museum with Dan from Electric Frankenstein as his guide. While Neil's wallowing in misery, Tom's feeling classic hardcore. Episode 299: Cliff Dinsmore from Bl'ast! and Seized Up.

The PTID guys have a great time talking to Santa Cruz punk/hardcore legend Cliff Dinsmore. They really dig into the '80s California punk and skate culture. They also talk about Dinsmore's more recent projects, especially the excellent hardcore band Seized Up, and how he overcame health issues to deliver a solid new record. Episode 298: Sloppy Queers.

Tom heads to Chicago to meet up with Neil and a bunch of friends and  listeners. They take in a punk potpouri of Raging Nathans, The Bollweevils, Sloppy Seconds and The Queers  Then Tom heads back east to see the same show in Detroit. Also, Neil went to see Pegboy and The Arrivals. Good times are had, and many beers are drunk. Episode 297:Against the Grain.

The PTID guys have a nice chat with Rob Nowak, the world's tallest drummer. Rob spent a decade touring with his Detroit based band, Against the Grain. They discuss criss crossing the country with Meatmen, Zeke and many more. They also talk about the upcoming Blackout BBQ also featuring Fear, Guida and DOA. Against the Grain might even have a guest appearance from an old school Michigan punk! With songs from The Meatmen, Turbonegro, Zeke, and Against The Grain. 

Episode 296: Scream.

The PTID guys were able to catch up with lead singer Pete Stahl and bassist Enoch (Skeeter) from the seminal DC band Scream. They talked about the old days and rubbing elbows with the soon to be rich and famous. They talked about their shift in style and their philosophy now and then, and a little about their 2023 “comeback” album DC Special. It's an interesting glimpse into that storied scene. Episode 294: Another Yob talks about Punk Rock Bowling 2024

The PTID guys check in with their southern California correspondent Jason Richardson. Richie goes over the highlights of Punk Rock Bowling, and what's new with his Garage Rock Records. The PTID guys catch up with the Scunthorpe Yobs guys.
