In this episode the PTID guys catch up with Michigan musician and indie filmmaker Jay Crimson. They talk about his current band and his involvement with Troma Films. Episode 267: Six Strings of Punk.

On this episode, the PTID guys steal an idea from satellite radio. They fight through 37 or 47 years of haze to pick six songs that really got them into punk. Not surprisingly, there's a ton of great music including a bunch of first wave classics and a couple early hardcore songs. Against their better judgement, the PTID guys welcome back New Jersey's finest, Doc Rotten for the second time. It doesn't take long for the conversation to devolve to the point that it would make most truckers blush.  Amid the chaos there's talk of buttholes, ladyboys and Adidas track suits. They also spin several tracks from Doc Rotten's excellent new self-titled album. Also featuring songs from The Clash, The Damned and Rancid.

On this episode, the PTID guys go through a bunch of friend and listener top 10 lists. No one's feelings are spared as good taste is applauded and questionable picks are mocked. It's interesting to see the wide variety of favorites. It's also interesting to see how the podcast influences listeners, and how the opposite is also true.
